Washington
Saturday April 14, 2012:
I only landed in Abbotsford on Wednesday, after being in Ottawa for about 3 months. The day was turning out to be so gorgeous so I crossed the border (leagally ofcourse) and drove to Washington, US. I took the Mt. Baker Scenic Byway, which winds along the North Fork of the Nooksack River. The drive was beautiful, and I stopped by Nooksack Falls and many other places. There was so much snow on the top, never seen that much snow, even after living in Ottawa for so long.
These wasn't much for me to do at the ski area, so I had a nice burger and headed back down and west to Bellingham Bay. I spent quite some time at West Clark Viewpoint, enjoying the scenery and taking photos.
I headed back home late in the afternoon.
Enjoy the photos.
